New! Static RAM Memory Expansion Kit
It's Time to do Something BIG!
Another great product from Machine Intelligence Technologies - 16Mb big. This will rocket the Propeller chip to new heights.
Like a stampeding herd out of the gate, they have done it again! Using the KISS Debugger, our engineering team has designed, tested, and produced a memory expansion kit for the Parallax Propeller.
This memory expansion kit supports a 5 megabyte block transfer rate and can be used to store program overlays for the COGs, overlays for Spin code, and large, fast, bulk data access.
Machine Intelligence Technologies Propeller Memory Expansion Kit expands the Propeller's 32Kb internal static RAM. It allows the Propeller to natively address from 512Kb additional static RAM to up to 16Mb additional static RAM.
- There is minimum program overhead.
- Requires only four instructions per byte transferred.
- Boasts a transfer rate of 5Mb per second.
- Can store anything from data to executable Spin programs to COG programs.
- Uses the Eurocard standard
- Can store the 16 instruction RISC emulator package which we are developing to run on the Propeller chip. (Under development).
- Will support an unlimited number of Propeller processors on our proprietary Corpus Callosum Bus. (Recently completed).
- All external devices such as memory, servos, gigabyte USB memory devices, etc. may be accessed from ANY Propeller chip in the system.
- Will support our new operating system, the KISSOS.
- It is by far the best bang for the buck in the robotics world.
- Further development in the near future includes adding up to 16 gigabytes of non-volatile RAM accessed via USB 2.0.
Your Propeller processer will never be the same again. You may start to think in terms of large-scale, multi-chip, multi-processor-per-chip, multi-megabyte and soon to be multi-gigabyte COG addressable memory -- mainframe-style applications.
The Propeller has just grown up. It's time to do something big.
